Thursday, December 11, the Student Movement occupied the Catanese greek Consulate in Catania to reaffirm its solidarity to the struggles and mobilizations in recent months that involved students and workers in Greece, who lived dramatic episodes of repression. Their demands are our demands, the crisis is unique, has an international character and the answer can only be unique and internationally. We unrolled a banner from the balcony of the consulate just to reaffirm our solidarity and the desire to internationalize the struggle. The response was immediate: the police broke through the cordon of his companions, stopping seven of them. The movement has responded with a permanent garrison in the police until the students were not released.
